Shiseido Maquillage 93 Holographic

Maquillage is a premium makeup brand from Shiseido that is sold in Japan and focuses on providing a full range of makeup products and colors. Their products are a pretty budget friendly, since they are mostly sold in department stores.

Maquillage 93 is a silvery glitter in the bottle but when I bought this, I had a hunch that this might be a holo...and I was right! I swatched this on tape and the effect was AMAZING.
The effect is more of a scattered holo, with varying particle sizes. It's very sheer and took me about 4 coats to get this opacity. Please excuse the cuticle raggedness, I haven't been able to feed them for the last few days.

The formula is great. I'm wearing Nfu-Oh Aqua Base on my index and ring fingers, yet there is no difference in the holographic effect. It dries instantly and does not streak or drag the color, like many other holographic polishes do. I did not use a topcoat, since it might dull the rainbows. The only problem is trying to capture the rainbows, I tried to show a few angles, but it was difficult to photograph it.
All in all, I'm really happy with this find, even if it is a tiny little bottle.
Next time, I'd try it over a different color as a holo topcoat perhaps.

What do you think about this color? With so many holographics out there, I'd love to hear your experiences with them :)
