Ahh yes...the new Nicki Minaj Collection.
I really wanted Metallic 4 Life though, but wherever I go, it's all gone...all sold out. So to sate my hunger, I have bought a box of OPI minis for the first time. Notice how the box says Metallic 4 Life when in the bottle it's clearly Save Me? I have no idea what the heck but that is one pretty box.
To be honest, I was a little sad that Pink Friday was a lame-o light pink creme instead of the promotional pic which leaked before the official release. It showed Pink Friday as a beautiful light pink holo and I WANTED IT SO BAD. Nothing else struck me as amazing. Turns out it's a creme, so my interest in this collection waned until I saw some swatches.

So far I can tell you that Pink Friday is pleasantly opaque, Fly (turquoise) has decent, but not as solid as PFs, coverage and the green one - Did it On 'Em is pretty watery but might look better in 2-3 coats. Save Me (glitter) is very plain and grainy but the holo bar glitter really shines sometimes so it's not terrible. I kind of like it.
I really like the look of Fly!! :D
ReplyDeleteYeah! When I did swatches yesterday (will post later) Fly was the best to apply and took 2 coats to be totally solid. The rest were less awesome. I'd say Fly is the winner out of those cremes :)
