Korean glitter haul!

Today, I want to show you a multitude of Korean glitters I found while in Richmond... they came in these tiny cute fairy bottles, only 2 dollars for all them! There's stars, teardrops, dots and hearts... a lot of interesting shapes and colors. I can't wait to do manicures with these! Jelly sandwiches and nail art ahoy~
Does anyone have tips for star glitter? I always find that the edges stick out past the nail even after 2-3 layers of topcoat and catch onto hair/clothes. Anything I can do to eliminate this?

  1. Richmond has all that? :O I haven't been around that place in a while! (Unless I go to Daiso xD)
But can't you slightly bend the stars beforehand? so the tips don't stick out? I know that that would bother me too >.< You just want to pull it off haha

    1. I got these at Aberdeen centre, there was a tiny little hole in the wall selling Korean stuff!
I can try to bend the glitter a bit, but I think it's a little tough... but I'll give a go, thanks :D

  2. EEE so cute!! :D!!!! Hmm, I don't know what to do about the sticky-outie edges other than attempt to smother them with top coat. :(

  5. I just posted a manicure tutorial using the stars and the hollow stars glitter. What I do to keep the star glitters from sticking out is adding a drop of clear topcoat, then add the star glitter on top. This seems to work well for me as the drop of topcoat floods the area around the stars making it less rough.

    1. Wow, thank you so much for the help! I will give it a try soon, because it would be a shame to waste such beautiful glitter.

  6. WOWOW those are sweet! im so jealous :3
ergg i find that annoying about star glitter too, i try to press down all the stubborn points when the polish is still wet, and seal it quickly with a top coat to weigh it down and hope that it stays haha
