As an impulse purchase, I've picked up Essie Borrowed and Blue, a very light pastel blue with a creme finish.
The formula was streaky and the color looked chalky, which was a disappointment. However, it did dry fast, which is always a plus. The color itself is less awesome on my hands than it is in the bottle, so I've decided to do a little bit of a glitter gradient and a nail sticker! This seemed to have made it a little more "interesting" am reminds me of fresh linen drying outside in the summer...
Overall, don't like the color with my skin, don't like the formula, wish it was a little bit less chalky, but maybe I can use it for stamping!
I love the airy feeling of the flower accent with the glitter!!
ReplyDeleteAiry! That's a perfect word to describe it. Thank you!
DeleteHey babe! How have you been:)

Thank you! been good! Busy and good. you?
DeleteI love what you did with B&B, it looks so elegant and delicate :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe the new light blue Essie would have been a better choice for you? I think it's called Bikini so Teeny or something xD
I was actually looking at it, have you heard anything about the formula? :O
Deleteawww i love your nail art, it looks so sweet! sorry to hear about the terrible formula though. i hate when that happens, especially from bigger brands! you'd think they would have figured out their formulas by now... lol
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yeah. Essies tend to be hit n miss, I should've looked up reviews, sometimes impulse buys can end like this :/ But that's okay!
DeleteAdorable mani!
