First of all, I would like to apologize for the lack of cleanup on this one. I messed up the mani, wasn't feeling it and ended up taking it off right away.
In any case, this is my first magnetic polish, T-Sing in Grey, a Taiwanese polish. I got this in Richmond and it even came with a magnet! It folds into a little box, which you put your nail into. I had some trouble with it, since I still need some practice. The design turned out a lot better in the photos and I smudged the nails a bit when using a magnet. The polish was thick, goopy and gritty. Exactly what I imagined magnetic polish might be like...
While I did not like the texture, I liked the color. Even by itself, it's a nice metallic grey. It dries fairly fast and the magnet seems to work well. I was surprised it even showed a design, since my nails have a very pronounced c-curve. I will be trying it again, as well as the dark blue one I got as well.
What are your thoughts on magnetic polishes? Like em, hate em? Favorite brands?
Wow darling! amazing, don't worry about the cleanup, sometimes it's normal but it's nice anyway :) I've never tried because here in Spain there isn't cool shops T.T so at first I like it.
ReplyDeleteIn the picture appears like small white "lines" it's on the polish or it's because of the light?
I would like you to follow me, if you want and if you like my blog ;)

Perfect as always!
these white lines are what the magnet does to the polish! It draws metallic powder from the polish as it dries, making it look sort of 3d! It's very neat. also, blog followed :)
DeleteThis nailpolish is amazing <3 I got this online, waiting for it to come in the mail :3

ahh sorry to hear about the terrible texture :/ i LOVE how the polish looks though! mine doesn't have the sparkles, so it doesn't even compare to yours. it gives a really cool effect, kinda like the galaxy and milky way! i think it'd be sweet if you used this as a base for a galaxy nail look :D
ReplyDeleteThis is the only one which has sparkles, other ones in the same line are a lot like the magnetics we have available, such as Essence. Also, that is a great idea... I might try to incorporate it into some nail art. Thank you :D
Deletemagnetic polish is not my thing, dunno why, I just didn't "feel" them :C anyway, my wallet was happy for that xD
ReplyDeleteAnd that's fine :D
DeleteYeah, the magnetics are TOO pricey! I got these at 9.95, which is better than paying 24cad$ or more of Essence 0_0
I love magnetic polish! It's so easy and forgiving. You smuge the polish or you don't like the design, just go over it again with the polish and redo the magnet! Not like other mani's where you have to take it off and start over again!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite ionesco I got was a cheepish $7 blue from Hot Topic of all places. Although Claire's and icings and my local sepora also have them, mine are all great very smooth polishes. Don't know why yours is so grainy.
Don't give up!! :0)
Ooh, no I won't give it up :)
DeleteI still have a less sparkly blue one to try, I think this one has bigger metal particles that make it sparklier, so the other one should be a little bit smoother.
Lol, that is so funny! After looking around for T-Sing Magnetic polish you are like the only place I found anything on them! Maybe they just don't have much magnetic particles in them? I really like the grey color though, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteAhh that is funny! I think the magnet might be weak or like you said, probably less particles - it's definitely different looking from other magnetic polishes. I'll probably be trying other magnetics sometimes though.
